Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 20, 2026 · United States
This Privacy Policy describes how The Enchanted Court (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal information when you visit or use our website and related services (the “Services”) in the United States. We describe rights available to residents of certain U.S. states below.
Scope
The Services are operated for a U.S. audience. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:
- Identifiers and account data: name, email address, username, password (stored using strong hashing—we do not store plaintext passwords), and similar account details.
- Commercial information: products or memberships purchased, order history, subscription status, and approximate amounts paid.
- Payment data: payment transactions are processed by our payment processor (for example, Stripe). We receive limited payment metadata (such as last four digits of a card or payment status) and do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
- Internet or network activity: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, general usage data, and security logs needed to operate and protect the Services.
- Content you provide: messages you send through chat, support forms, or similar features, subject to our Terms and moderation practices.
- Inferences: we may derive general preferences or segment information from usage to improve the Services and security.
Sources
We collect the categories above directly from you, automatically when you use the Services, and from service providers (such as payment processors) acting on our behalf.
How we use information
- Provide, personalize, and improve the Services
- Process purchases and subscriptions; send transactional messages (receipts, account verification, service notices)
- Authenticate users, detect fraud, and protect security
- Communicate with you about the Services and, where permitted, marketing (you can opt out of marketing as described in messages)
- Comply with law, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our Terms
- Analytics in aggregate or de-identified form where appropriate
How we share information
We share personal information with categories of recipients as needed to run the Services:
- Service providers who host our infrastructure, send email, process payments, provide video or streaming infrastructure, analytics, or customer support tools—under contracts that require appropriate safeguards.
- Legal and safety: when we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our users, or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice practices.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information (as defined under applicable state law) for purposes that California law would treat as incompatible with CPRA, except as permitted by law or as you direct.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for sessions, authentication, security, preferences, and limited analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling certain cookies may limit functionality.
Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described here, to comply with legal obligations (including tax and accounting rules), and to resolve disputes. Retention periods vary by data type and context.
Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Services are not directed to children under thirteen (13) years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under thirteen in a manner prohibited by the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”). If you believe we have collected information from a child under thirteen, contact us through Support and we will take appropriate steps.
Your U.S. state privacy rights
Depending on where you live, state laws (including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, and similar laws in Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, and other states) may grant you rights to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Request deletion of personal information, subject to exceptions
- Opt out of certain processing, such as “sales” or “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, where those concepts apply
- Appeal our response to a request, where applicable
- Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights
To submit a request, use Support or the contact information shown there. We will verify your request in line with applicable law. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf where permitted; we may require proof of authorization.
California “Shine the Light.” California residents may request certain information about disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes (California Civil Code § 1798.83). We do not share personal information with unaffiliated third parties for their own direct marketing as described in that statute; questions can be directed through Support.
Nevada residents. Nevada law (NRS 603A) allows consumers to opt out of the sale of certain covered information. We do not sell covered information as defined in that statute; inquiries may still be sent through Support.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy and update the “Last updated” date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
